_Light
  • Darkness -- nobody can see you unless they're right next to you

  • Light -- every turn each NPC in line-of-sight and (vision radius) rolls a search check against your sneak skill. This check is then multiplied by the brightness value of your tile.

Sound
  • Doing nothing -- nobody can hear you

  • Moving, stabbing, etc -- roll a stealth check to determine how much sound you make. any NPC in the sound's range rolls a d(2+search skill) and fails to hear it on 1, but hears it on any other roll.

  • Misc actions -- make same amount of noise regardless of stealth skill
